At first sight the 005 light appears to be fluorescent. Instead, designer Naama Hofman has used an acrylic tube with 180 energy saving LEDs to throw off a lot of light without the usual harsh glare of a fluorescent bulb. Hofman's collection is made up of four light objects. In each one, a glass panel intersects or frames the LED tube differently, creating horizontal, vertical and diagonal support structures. Minimalist and deceptively simple, these 005 lights are a refreshing new take on the freestanding lamp.
