Gray Malin has photographed these bird's eye shots of beaches in the U.S, Brazil and Australia from door-less helicopters way up in the sky. As he is so far from his subjects the people and objects simply become patterns and shapes upon the blank canvas of sand or sea. Of the A La Plage series he notes "These photographs are a visual celebration of color, light, shape - and summer bliss".
