Mexican artist Carlos Amorales affixes thousands of black paper moths to the walls of large interior spaces. Amorales first installed his work at Yvon Lambert gallery in 2007 and has since exhibited his moths in all sorts of gallery spaces. The moths are delicately placed in organic shapes across walls, ceilings, stairwells and ornate plaster fixtures, creating a dramatic contrast between white and black.
