Having grown up with parents who were potters, I have a huge respect for these pieces by Ceramic Sculptor Merete Rasmussen. Each piece is hand constructed in stoneware clay using a coiling technique. The fragile and complicated pieces she achieves form almost perfect concave and convex shapes, which would not be easy when working with wet and malleable clay .
