New Zealand born designer Phil Cuttance has built a 'Faceture' machine that can cast geometric vases in the shape you construct from a handmade mould. The plastic sheet mould can be manouvered and shaped so each piece is completely unique. The 'Faceture' series consists of vases, light shades and side table. Cuttance has posted a video of himself producing the vases on the machine - the "lo-fi", handmade process of constructing the vases constrasts with their sharp lines and digital aesthetic.
