This incredible 'Kinetic Rain' display has just been completed by Berlin firm ART+COM at Terminal 1 of Changi Airport in Singapore. The display consists of 608 'rain drops' made from copper covered lightweight aluminum and suspended from above by thin steel ropes. The droplets are moved precisely via a computer controlled motor hidden in the ceiling, and follow a 15 minute computationally designed choreography.
