The Gold Room by Lee Broom

Anna Coe - Friday, August 24, 2012

British designer Lee Broom was asked to fit out a room in London's Lancaster house to create a space which could host business leaders who were visiting London during the Olympics. Broom was among a group of designers invited to revitalise the British Embassy, including Sir Terrance Conran and Jasper Morrison. Broom's Gold Room however, was the only space in the house dedicated to just one designer. We love how his pieces from the Salon and Parq Life collections look so at home in the extravagant surroundings of Lancaster House, "exemplifying the designer's ethos of connecting the past and the future, the traditional and contemporary".
