Never has a house of cards looked so stable. Designer Mauricio Arruda drew inspiration from a famous childhood pastime and created a table capable of supporting up to 250 kilograms - slightly more impressive than the gentlest of breezes needed to knock over a deck of cards. By laser cutting 4mm deep steel plates and producing cards in a scale of 13:1, the table is literally put together like a house of cards, allowing each owner to fully customise its configuration. Table tops can also be swapped in and out lending further towards the versatility of this design.
