What do you get when you cross two typographers and a pro race car driver? The three collaborated using custom designed software that allowed them to track the movements of the car and create the letters and figures shown.

 Polish artist Jerzy Goliszewsk's wall installation project references Hans Christian Anderson's Snow Queen. The work refers to the mirror which, as the fairy tale tells, broke into pieces distorting the world and making it hideous and absurd.

Check out this snazzy little number. The Samsung Watchphone is the worlds thinnest touchscreen cellphone that's been geniusly fashioned into a tempting stainless steel body wristwatch. The phone features many of the usual add-ons such as MP3 player, speakerphone and bluetooth technology.

Japanese architect Shigeru Ban's new Carbon Fibre Chair weighs in at an almighty 500 grams. Two slender layers of carbon fibre sandwich very fine aluminum panels to to create a chair that, though light as a feather is still as strong as an ox.

Ferruccio Laviani's Evolution Dresser

For the couple that can't decide between old and new, this could be a good compromise. Designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Emmemobili, 'Evolution' is a dresser which does just as its name suggests: evolves. It moves from antiquated at one end to linear and minimalist at the other. On second thoughts, it doesn't seem like a design compromise to us.
