Paper Sculpture by Jen Stark

Claire Sullivan - Monday, July 13, 2009

Using anywhere between 30 and 80 layers of card stock coloured paper, Jen Stark, a Miami based artist, creates her kaleidoscopic paper art by hand.

The 26 year old artist purchases the "Assortment Pack" of  coloured cards and plays around with the colour combinations of each art piece before cutting each individual card by hand using a craft knife.

Stark creates beautiful three dimensional abstract geometric patterns that successfully turn an everyday two dimensional item into a magnificent work of art.
