A year ago artist Jeff Koons upset many a purist art critic with his installation of works at the fantastical Chateau de Versailles. As the famous residence of the ever playful Marie Antionette, it's hard not to love what Koons created for his exhibition. You can be sure that the outrageous Queen would have gotten a great deal of pleasure from his oversized glass balloon dogs.
This year the priviledge has been past onto artist Xavier Veilhan, whose installation (images below) is equally appropriate and fitting with the playful nature of the Chateau's historic resident.

The new Xavier Veilhan installation is on display and open to the public until 13 December 2009.
