Constructed from hand-blown glass with a porcelain counterweight, the Gradient lamp by Wendy Maarten Studio features a subtle ombre pattern that runs from opaque to transparent. Available in three different versions, in colours grapefruit and yellow, each lamp comes with a custom coloured yarn cord that is braided over the electrical cord. The pendant has a floating impression due to a fluent transition from the perfectly matched colours of the cord and the top of the lamp. We were lucky enough to view the Gradient lamps while in Milan earlier this year and can attest that they are subtly striking in both photos and in real life.
