John Rainey presented a collection of work titled 'Insurgency' recently in an exhibition of graduate projects at the Royal College of Art in London. The collection consists of hybrid alien-esque sculptural objects that he created to "explore the instability of identity in the fusion of real and virtual". Rainey made the composite 3D sculptures using perspex and a high-definition 3D printer and earlier this year his work was chosen to be a part of the school's 'Paradise' exhibition at Salone del Mobile in Milan.
