Anyone familiar with the Los Angeles nightlife scene will be aware of their fondness for private parties held in exclusive Bel Air mansions. Over the past few years local bar owners have been taking note, by creating establishments named Villa and Home to try to attract the 'it' crowds that prefer to party in private environments. The newest addition to the Hollywood scene is the aptly named My House.
Designed by Dodd Mitchell, My House re interprets the classic house party environment on a very grand scale. Featuring a fully operational kitchen (as all good house parties seem to revolve around the kitchen) and bedroom suite amongst it's nooks and crannies. The interior style itself is reminiscent of 50's Hollywood too, with its velvet club chairs, dark wood veneers and deep shag pile carpets.
