As other design manufacturers lean towards a subtler and more refined aesthetic, you can always count on Edra to head decisively in the other direction. With disco-popping sparkly chairs, their offering at the Milan Fair back in April was anything but subtle or classically refined. But, we're not alarmed. After all, the reason we like Edra, and their ongoing collaboration with the Campana Brothers and other designers of the like, is for their extreme choice in materials and wack execution. Take the Alice chair by Jacopo Foggini that graduates between dark and light, where Alice's journey to Wonderland feels possible, or the Paglia wardrobe unit by Campana Studio that's comprised of a cascade of raffia transforming an ordinary piece into something archaic with an organic tribute to Cousin It. There's no better furniture line for a person who likes to actively cast the net out in search of the extraordinary.
