Director Lucy Walker along with Arthouse films has brought an inspiring film to the table called Waste Land. Waste Land follows Vik Muniz as he journeys from Brooklyn to the largest rubbish dump in the world Jardim Gramacho in Rio de Janeiro. It's here that he photographs local people who pick through the rubbish for recyclable materials and creates large portraits of them from their surroundings.
